Our first brewery on the tour is Craft Beer Commonwealth, located in the Gasoline Alley Farmers Market. Craft Beer Commonwealth is passionate about locally-made, craft beverages and fostering partnerships between an accumulation of breweries and malt barley farmers stretching across Central Alberta. They’re a true nano-brewery where cooperative experimentation and innovation happens in small batches! They’re worth a frequent visit with weekly changes to their menu! eTheyr Commonwealth and Birdy Coffee Company, we are passionate about locally-made, craft beverages – and we ought to be. We are a partnership between an accumulation of breweries, a coffee roaster, and malt barley farmers stretching across Central Alberta, who each bring their unique skills and perspectives to the year-round Gasoline Alley Farmer’s Market, where we spend the week roasting coffee and brewing beer so that you can enjoy the beverages you desire for every market visit. Sawback Brewing Company started as crazy idea born in a garage with friends. Now it’s grown into a taproom-focused brewery, specializing in small-batch craft beer. Light, Dark, Sour and Wild, they are exploring all things craft beer! All of this is made possible by our local Alberta farmers that provide them with the worlds best barley, right out of our own backyard.
Red Hart Brewing started in a canoe. They had been friends for a long time before embarking on a fateful paddle down the Red Deer River. Over the course of a long weekend, the idea of Red Hart Brewing began to take shape.
Belly Hop Brewing is a family owned craft brewery and taproom. They change their line up often to keep things fresh and exciting and offer delicious brews like Pear Face Pale Saison, Day Glow India Pils, and Brother Bear Black Ale.
